I've been doing professional massage for 13 years. the last table I bought from NRG had a poor face-rest...my clients would complain of their chins hitting the adjustment bar, and the vertical height adjustment never was secure. So, the Earthlite model I just bought is an upgrade, and MUCH sturdier than my previous face-rest. Face-rest cushion is also sturdy and about as comfortable as any face cradle can be.

I really like this headrest. It adjusts to a diverse number a body sizes I see in my practice. I replaced the cushion it comes with with my kur memory foam cushion for added comfort. No client complaints!

At times, clients that come for stress reduction/relaxation therapies are required to lie face down for extended periods. This headrest provides great comfort and stability, allows for proper structural alignment, prevents stress and discomfort, and best of all is adjustable to suit almost everyone.

I made a bracket out of wood and attached the bracket to the wooden frame of my platform bed.
When I want to give or get a massage, I just slide the posts of the head-rest into holes in the bracket. This allows me to use my bed as a massage table.
